Students
seeking admission in professional courses and for higher
education have a fair degree of
knowledge regarding the subjects they opt for
Physics, Economics, Commerce etc all subjects are first
introduced in school level. However subjects related to
Films, Television or Media have not made entry into
schools or colleges yet, and hence this ignorance is
endemic among the students who desire to make a career in
films. Often students take admission in film schools to
discover at a later point of time that their aptitude lie
elsewhere but not before spending considerate amount of
time and money.
The
purpose of the workshop is to help students discover their
own dimensions and specially their aptitude. First a
through knowledge of each discipline is a imparted with
theoretical and practical inputs. The entire spectrum of
Film & Television program making is covered briefly in
the workshop. Students get a free opportunity to interact
with the faculty and the professionals to clear their own
perspective regarding their subject of interest. This
helps students to arrive at a decision regarding their
future career prospectus.
