In almost all Film and Television programmes there is hardly any programme where no actor is involved. It is through the actors the director conveys his message or idea  to the audience. The role of an actor cannot be underestimated at any cost. Observation, imagination, body language, emoting capabilities, verbal and non-verbal  communications are the tools of an actor, which is more important than the  superficial beauty and glamour.


In the Acting & Presentation classes, the acting students sharpen these tools to build up
their acting prowess. Getting into a character comes through after great deal of observations and imaginations.
Acting for Film and Television is highly technical. The actor doesn’t perform in isolation and
is directly bonded to the camera, lights and microphone. Besides, his time and pace criteria are totally related to the editing parameters. This makes it compulsory for an Film & Television performer to have the basic knowledge of cinematography, editing and the Film grammar. It is this technology that makes Film and Television acting so different from theatre.
